Evoking the image of a secluded estate hidden behind majestic iron gates and granite walls, it remains within easy walking distance to the beaches, the antique shops, Bellevue Mansions, and downtown Newport. In September 2003 Food & Wine Magazine called The Chanler "one of the 15 best new luxury hotels in the world." Winner of the 2004 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, The Spiced Pear Restaurant within The Chanler offers seasonal-international cuisine created by Chef Richard Hamilton. Most opulent room, makes an ideal Bridal Suite. Beautifully appointed King Bed with swag damask bedding in rich blues and gold to compliment the room's carved ceiling and wall panels. Features three televisions, separate couch and seating area by the fireplace, and an expansive rooftop deck overlooking the ocean. Oversized bathroom features sunken in whirlpool tub surrounded by tall columns, separate shower, toilet and bidet, his and her vanities and separate makeup area. 1 rollaway allowed. English Tudor: 
Raised platform room with ornate king bed with rich wood and antique oak flooring features beautiful garden view. Separate seating area by fireplace with a dark suede couch and overstuff chairs. Beautiful Tudor style writing desk ideal for the business traveler.

Marthas Vineyard Ocean Villa: 
Private ocean villa with an expansive deck overlooking the ocean. A private, enclosed courtyard has a sauna and large hot tub, gardens, and fountains.
